Founded in 1960 as the Assembly of Canadian University Pediatric Department Heads, and incorporated as the Pediatric Chairs of Canada (PCC) in 2002, PCC represents the Departments of Pediatrics within the seventeen Canadian medical schools. Collectively they provide national leadership in research and education to promote the health and healthcare of children and youth in Canada.

Our Mission

We are the national network of academic leaders in pediatric medicine strengthening the future of pediatrics and improving the health outcomes of all children, by working together to advance evidence-based care, education and research.

Our Visual Identity

The Pediatric Chairs of Canada logo is professional, open and impactful. It consists of our name, as well as a ripple made of 17 lines to represent the impact of the 17 Chairs representing the Departments of Pediatrics across Canada.
