Clinician Educator Faculty Position Division of Respirology Department of Pediatrics - McMaster University

The Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and McMaster Children’s Hospital are seeking one full-time academic physician to join the Division of Pediatric Respirology.  The successful candidate will be considered a clinician educator and will be expected to share responsibility for education and research within the division, as well as comprehensive clinical services.  McMaster Children’s Hospital functions as a referral Centre for the regions of South-Central Ontario extending from Niagara to Kitchener-Waterloo and beyond.  McMaster Children’s Hospital is one of the busiest children’s hospitals in Ontario offering specialized care to over 150,000 children each year.

This position will incorporate an academic appointment and rank and salary will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the applicant. The Division of Pediatric Respirology aims to develop and further expand its range of clinical, academic, and research interests.  We offer a collegial atmosphere, a unique academic environment, many research opportunities, and the opportunity to work in a growing academic department with enthusiastic colleagues. Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics and must have completed a Pediatric Respirology Fellowship.  Applicants must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
