Patient Safety Competencies Curriculum Development
The Paediatric Chairs of Canada (PCC) and the National Program Directors supported by the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) has been developing a patient safety curriculum for the Paediatric Residency programs at the sixteen Academic Health Sciences Centres in Canada. A steering group was established in September 2008 to design a curriculum concept that was presented to the National Program Directors and the Paediatric Chairs of Canada at a workshop held in Ottawa on June 22 – 23, 2009.
